Ghost Writer
Voice typing for Windows. Hold a key, talk, and your words appear in almost any app, punctuated and tidied. It can also fix and rewrite text you select, take spoken commands, and keep voice notes.
Ghost Media Works
Software that works for you, on your own PC.
We make tools for Windows that do their work on your computer, not in someone's cloud. Our first, Ghost Writer, runs on your PC: your voice and words never leave it.
What we make
Our first app is in free beta now. The second is on its way.
Coming soon
Ghost Media Hub
A video editor for Windows, planned to run on your PC: cut, colour, titles, captions and screen recording. Not available yet.
Our promise
The rules Ghost Writer follows today, and every app we ship after it.
On your PC
Ghost Writer runs on your PC: your voice and words never leave it, to us or anyone else.
No ads, no analytics
Ghost Writer has no analytics: the only thing we learn is from the key check, such as how many PCs used it each day. This website sets no cookies of its own and loads nothing from other sites.
Straight answers
We say what's in beta, what goes online and why Windows warns about a new app, before you install.
You're in charge
Every setting is yours to change, and everything an app keeps is visible and removable.
